Just below the summit of Mt. Liberty, is where the trees open up to this view of Mt. Lincoln. It was an incredibly bitter cold day so I had to be quick to get a few shots off. This particular image was taken on a dry plate glass negative using the same emulsion formula as was used in the late victorian era. These are hand coated, therefor have blemishes, waves, small bubbles and scratches that I believe add to the aesthetic of these images.
